Got myself a drone

Here in southern Finland the ground is quite flat. And there’s a lot of trees. Trees are nice, but they have a tendency of blocking the view. And here’s not nearly high enough hills that I would be able to get above the treeline. So I got my self a drone. Now I can get above the treeline where ever I go. It opens up a whole new perspective to photography.

Shot with Dji Mini 3 Pro

The autumn foliage is already starting to show and the peak is going to be in a few weeks. I’m very excited of getting this new angle to that autumn foliage photography.

The Dji Mini 3 Pro wasn’t the cheapest drone in the market, but it seemed to have much better camera, than the cheaper alternatives so I think it was worth the extra money.

It has bigger sensor than the cheaper ones and wider aperture. That’s something I find very important, because I want to be able to use it in low light conditions as well.

After couple test flights I’m very happy with the results. It seems to perform very well in varying lighting conditions. The sensors dynamic range was better than I expected.

I’ll be posting new images as the fall advances. Stay tuned!
