Extreme geomagnetic storm
On May 10th, Earth was struck by a strong CME, sparking G5 level geomagnetic storm.
Luckily the sky was completely clear the following night and the geomagnetic storm spiked just at the darkest hours of the night.
That resulted in spectacular northern lights display.
